Liberal Democrats concern over SnOasis

The Liberal Democrats have voiced their concern over today's announcement to give SnOasis the go-ahead.
The massive development, costing a total of £300 million and taking around three years to complete, has been given the seal of approval by the Government.
Local Councillor for the area John Field commented, "I regret that the Government has not taken into consideration the views of many of the local people in my division, but now that the decision has been made we must ensure that it provides the best possible solution for residents."
"I still have many concerns over the development, as it has the potential to cause significant damage to wildlife, as well as increasing the level of traffic on the roads in the area".
"The current economic climate also raises questions as to the viability of the business case for the development. There must be guarantees that this project will be completed to the highest standard regardless of the economic climate we find ourselves in."
"Now that this decision has been taken by the Government, we must look to the future and ensure that the local people get the best possible outcome from this development. The creation of jobs, and investment in the local area can be seen as a positive aspect and an attraction for Suffolk."
